UT Health Quitman in Mineola, TX is seeking a day-shift, full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). The role supports physicians with administrative and clinical duties, including patient rooming and vital signs, under supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, current CMA or RMA licensure, and BLS within 14 days of hire; six months of clinic experience is preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current licensure as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Six months’ medical clinic experience (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
• Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
• Clinical duties may include rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
