UT Health Carthage in Carthage, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Family Medicine Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). You will perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician, including scheduling, medical records, and assisting with patient examinations.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and current CCMA licensure. Preferred candidates have 6 months of medical clinic experience, BLS within 30 days of hire, and NCT certification.

Aufgaben

• Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
• Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
• Clinical duties may include rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
