Mt. Olive Pickle Co., Inc. is seeking a Day Shift Caretaker II to assist in maintaining the tank yard and ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials. The role emphasizes physical labor, equipment operation, and strict adherence to safety standards.

You will pump brine, manage tank levels, handle stock, and perform routine maintenance on tanks and surrounding areas while supporting the Outside Production team as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Certified forklift operator required.
• Heavy, physical job.

Responsibilities

• Pumps brine to tanks to maintain required brine level.
• Unheads and/or heads tanks; obtain brinestock samples.
• Manually lifts and moves tank heads, 4x4s, and other supplies.
• Circulates tanks of brinestock using circulating pump or air blowers.
• Cleans tanks and unloading areas to maintain safety and sanitation.
• Remains alert to conditions affecting stock quality; follows safety rules.
