Job summary

Clarendale is seeking a Full-Time Day Shift Caregiver to help residents start their day with dignity, comfort, and confidence. The role runs 7 AM – 7 PM and offers a $17.00–$17.50 hourly rate plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid quarterly.

You will assist with ADLs, help with meals, provide companionship, and participate in activities while collaborating with nurses to ensure safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Caregiving or CNA experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, TB test, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, bathing, and mobility
• Help residents enjoy meals and stay engaged throughout the day
• Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
• Participate in resident activities and promote social engagement
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Work collaboratively with nurses and team members to provide exceptional care
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for residents and their families
