Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Fayetteville, NC is seeking dedicated CAREgivers to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors. You’ll assist with daily living activities, mobility, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship, helping clients maintain independence in their own homes.

We offer flexible schedules (part-time and full-time), competitive pay of $14–$16 per hour, and benefits. A valid NC driver’s license and reliable transportation are required to join our caring team.

Qualifications

• 6 months caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts)
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
• Help with mobility and transfers (including hoyer lifts and gait belts)
• Perform light homemaking, laundry, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and reminders for medications as needed
• Support clients with errands and safe transportation

Your Role as a CAREgiver:

• Personal Support: Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
• Safe Mobility: Assist with movement and transfers (including hoyer lifts and gait belts)
• Homemaking & Meal Prep: Create a safe, clean home environment with light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking
• Engagement & Care: Provide companionship, medication reminders, and specialized care for dementia clients
• Reliable Support for Clients: Run errands, provide transportation, and more

What We Need from You as a Caregiver:

• Heart for Caring: Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
• Experience: 6 months of caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts!)
• Reliability: Valid North Carolina driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical Strength: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform necessary movements
