Job summary

Lovelace Health System is seeking a full-time Intermediate Care Cardiac Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you will provide essential patient care under the guidance of nursing and medical staff, assisting with daily activities such as bathing and dressing.

Ideal candidates will hold a High School Diploma or GED and will need to complete BLS certification within 14 days of starting. Preferably, you have experience in acute or long-term care and are working towards CNA or PCT certification. Join us to make healthcare better!

Qualifications

• Completing BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience in acute or long-term care preferred.
• Working towards CNA, PCT or EMT-P certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing and medical staff direction.
• Assist patients with daily activities.
• Record patient vital signs and collect specimens.
• Provide basic transport and housekeeping duties.
