Qualifications

• Ability to understand and carry out oral instructions.
• Stands, walks, bends and reaches continuously.
• Able to handle heavy and medium-weight material, equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Operates light or heavy custodial equipment to strip, wax and buff floors.
• Performs cleaning and disinfecting procedures with germicidal detergents.
• Washes walls, ceilings, fixtures and windows; dusts and waxes furniture.
• Takes down and rehanges draperies and blinds; cleans kitchens and dining areas.
• Removes waste and cleans waste containers; loads trash for pickup.
• Cleans storage areas and maintains equipment; performs other duties as assigned.
