Job summary

Penguin Random House LLC in Hampstead, MD is seeking a Light Picker/Packer (Order Processor 1) to join our distribution center. The role focuses on picking and packing book orders with voice automation and other methods, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm on site, with a base rate of $16.00 per hour. The position requires lifting up to 25–35 pounds, standing throughout shift, and must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Requires basic reading and math skills.
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift (minimal breaks provided).
• Must be able to climb stairs and be comfortable working on an upper mezzanine level.
• Minimum age requirement is 18.
