Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians to join our Jacksonville, NC team. This is a hands-on role supporting adults receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment in a structured, safe environment.

Day shift opportunities exist for both full-time and part-time staff. We offer competitive compensation at $17.00/hour plus up to $1.50 shift differential, along with benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, PTO and 401(k), paid training, and opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, support, and engagement to clients.
• Assist with client intake, orientation, and daily routines.
• Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and incidents.
• Support therapeutic activities, groups, and scheduled programming.
• Observe and document medication self-administration according to protocol.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and program activities.
• Respond appropriately to behavioral or emotional crises using approved interventions.
• Support clients with activities of daily living and dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and structured residential environment.
• Complete required documentation, training, and compliance activities.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative team members.
