Job summary

Sturdy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time shift in Massachusetts. The RN will optimize patient outcomes by delivering compassionate, collaborative care across age groups and cultural backgrounds, following nursing standards and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements include MA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, documentation accuracy, and patient education to support families and physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required for Cardiac Rehab.
• New Graduate Nurses accepted for some positions.
• Excellent communication and customer services skills required.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, good organizational skills, and adaptability.
• Command of verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, positive responses to the needs of all customers including patients, families, co-workers, and physicians.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized, coordinated, and comprehensive care plans.
• Regularly assess and record vital signs to monitor patient status.
• Gather and document patients' medical history, symptoms, and current health status.
• Systematically assess patients for care needs and changes in condition.
• Administer and accurately record medications according to orders and protocols.
• Independently administer nursing care and provide basic to complex nursing procedures.
• Delegate care in accordance with regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records and care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment options, and health maintenance.
• Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
