Job summary

Sturdy Health in Attleboro, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse to optimize patient outcomes by delivering compassionate, collaborative, high-quality care for patients of all ages. The RN will apply the nursing process within unit policies and standards in accordance with MA law and hospital guidelines.

The role requires thorough assessment, medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, effective care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required for Cardiac Rehab.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, positive responses to the needs of all customers including patients, families, co-workers, and physicians.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized, coordinated, and comprehensive care plans.
• Regularly assess and record vital signs to monitor patient status.
• Gather and document patients' medical history, symptoms, and current health status.
• Systematically assess patients for care needs and changes in condition.
• Administer and record medications according to orders and protocols.
• Delegate care in accordance with state practice act and hospital guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records and individualized nursing plans of care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and strategies for health maintenance.
• Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
