Job summary

Sturdy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care across age groups in a hospital setting. The RN will apply the nursing process and collaborate with the care team while adhering to the Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act, CDC, and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, administering medications, documenting care, educating families, and participating in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license is required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS required with BLS for specified units.
• NRP and PALS as per units.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, positive responses to the needs of patients, families, co-workers, and physicians.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement coordinated care plans.
• Regularly assess and record vital signs to monitor patient status.
• Gather and document patients' medical history, symptoms, and current health status.
• Administer medications according to provider orders and protocols.
• Independently administer nursing care and duty as assigned.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing plans of care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
• Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
