Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey, Inc. seeks a Day Service Supervisor for an interim position at Mission Services/Day Services/Jamaica Project Discovery/PossibilitieS.

The role reports to the Program Manager and involves leading rehabilitation staff and ensuring program compliance. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with transportation and QA to ensure quality services for individuals with varied needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• One year of work experience in mental health, vocational rehabilitation, or case management preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete required documentation (Life Plans, Monthly Case Notes, Person Centered Plans, Prevocational Assessments, DDP1s, Incident Reports) within required timeframes.
• Ensure monthly attendance goals are met and prepare attendance reports for the Program Manager.
• Engage individuals in Person Centered Planning and develop Staff Action Plans and Employment Plans.
• Create group and individual monthly schedules considering each individual's goals, needs, and skills.
• Provide oversight and discipline for Rehabilitation Technicians and Direct Support Professionals; participate in life plan meetings.
