Job summary

MRCI is seeking a Day Service Specialist I in Apple Valley, MN. You will develop community-based, person-centered day service plans and build strong relationships with clients and their teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, providing direct support, documenting progress, and transporting clients. A HS diploma and valid driver’s license are required; some experience in customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Compassion and sensitivity to individuals with disabilities.
• Must pass a Department of Human Services background study.
• Valid driver’s license and space for overnight parking of company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate individualized community activities to promote independence and social interaction.
• Provide direct support to clients, including personal care, medication administration, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Document daily progress and services provided.
• Transport clients using a company-provided vehicle.
• Engage in community outreach and utilize technology to support your work.
• Work independently and collaboratively with a supportive team.
