Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living in the United Kingdom is seeking a Day Program Professional to support individuals in a structured daytime setting. You will lead engaging activities, promote independence, and help participants build daily living skills within the community.

This role requires 18+, a valid driver's license, GED or high school diploma, and strong communication. Training is provided, including CPR and medication administration, with opportunities for LEAP program advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• GED or High School Diploma

• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Lead structured activities including social, recreational, and community-based programming.
• Support individuals in building independence, social skills, and daily living skills.
• Implement individual service plans and support progress toward personal goals.
• Ensure health, safety, and dignity of individuals during program hours, transportation, and community outings.
• Provide personal care and administer medications as needed (training provided)
• Promote inclusion and positive community engagement
• Utilize crisis prevention and intervention strategies to support individuals safely
• Complete required documentation including daily logs and incident reports
• Transport individuals and supervise activities in community settings
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment
