The role emphasizes safety, respect, and individualized support plans, with opportunities for professional development through the LEAP program. A valid driver’s license and 18+ are required.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team- oriented.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured activities in social, recreational, and community-based programs.
• Support individuals to build independence and daily living skills.
• Implement individual service plans and track progress toward goals.
• Ensure health, safety, and dignity during program hours and transportation.
• Provide personal care and administer medications (training provided).
• Promote inclusion and positive community engagement.
• Use crisis prevention strategies to keep individuals safe.
• Complete daily logs and incident reports accurately.
• Transport individuals and supervise activities in community settings.
