Job summary

Pathways for Life in Mesa, Arizona, seeks a dedicated Day Program Manager to lead our adult day program, guiding staff and coordinating activities that promote independence and meaningful engagement for members with developmental disabilities.

  • Report operational concerns to the Program Manager and support staff development.

What You’ll Do:

Role Overview:
  • Conduct facility tours for prospective families and visitors
  • Build positive, professional relationships with supported individuals and staff
  • Create, organize, and maintain program forms and documentation
  • Support staff in implementing effective teaching strategies to help individuals achieve goals
  • Develop and coordinate monthly activity calendars
  • Maintain appropriate staff-to-individual ratios within the day program
  • Create and organize morning and evening transportation routes
  • Supervise staff and provide coaching/correction regarding behaviors or language not aligned with company policies
  • Follow established procedures for opening and closing the center
  • Promptly report operational concerns, incidents, or staffing issues to the Program Manager
  • Conduct staff assessments and observations to ensure quality care and compliance with program expectations
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and person-centered environment for individuals and staff

We are looking for a positive, energetic, and responsible DTA Manager who can create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment for individuals who experience an IDD while ensuring full compliance with state and company requirements. The ideal candidate will lead by example, manage and support staff effectively, maintain high standards of professionalism and accountability, and foster a strong team culture in our adult day program. This person should also be creative and organized, with the ability to plan meaningful activities, community outings, and experiences that promote participation, independence, and enjoyment for our members.

The DTA Manager is responsible for enhancing the quality of life for our members while ensuring that our programs run smoothly and efficiently. We’re excited to meet the right candidate who shares our passion for creating a fun, supportive, and meaningful environment for our members each day!
