Job summary

The Center for Disability Services is seeking a Day Program Coordinator in Albany to oversee educational and vocational programming for individuals in our Adult Services Program. You will plan activities, coordinate staff, and ensure services align with care plans and program goals.

The role requires leadership in an interdisciplinary team, hands-on direct care support when needed, and collaboration with program directors to maintain daily operations and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of job-related experience with people with developmental disabilities or related field.
• Associate degree or two completed years of college may be considered in lieu of 1 year experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Educational and vocational programming for assigned individuals; assist the day program supervisor in establishing programming and staff assignments.
• Lead the interdisciplinary team serving each individual on caseload.
• Participate in all aspects of direct care for assigned individuals as needed.
• Assist Directors/Day Program Administrators with daily organizational needs of the program.
