Job summary

Unified Community Connections is seeking a Day Program Supervisor in Cumberland, MD to lead program operations and ensure high-quality services for individuals with disabilities. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering collaboration with consumers, families, and community partners.

The position emphasizes supervision, training, and maintaining a safe, person-centered environment with strong communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services preferred; experience may substitute.
• 2–4 years of experience plus 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge and understanding of the needs of individuals with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Unified management to achieve agency goals.
• Ensure services are provided to individuals served including meals, hygiene, medical care and activities.
• Monitor Day Program compliance with applicable regulations.
• Prepare and monitor the Day Program budget and expenditures.
• Conduct formal 1:1 supervision of direct reports.
• Oversee Day Program to ensure quality outcomes through training and mentoring.
• Build positive relationships with consumers, providers, coordinators, staff, and the community.
