Job summary

The Center for Disability Services seeks a Day Program Assistant Supervisor to join our Adult Services Program. You will oversee day program operations, supervise direct support staff, and ensure quality services while supporting the Program Supervisor with regulatory compliance and budget adherence.

We value experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and welcome applicants with an Associate degree or two years of college as a substitute for one year of experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of job related experience with people with developmental disabilities or related field.
• Associate degree or two completed years of college may be considered in lieu of 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operational and programmatic needs of the day program/service including the direct support staff and the people supported, as directed by the Program Supervisor.
• Direct support for the people served while assisting the Program Supervisor in the supervision of the direct support staff assigned to the program ensuring that performance evaluations, adequate staffing, training and quality services are delivered to the people supported.
• Supports the agency mission and goals by assisting the Program Supervisor with oversight of regulatory compliance, satisfaction of services delivered and adherence to the operating budget.

Education
