Job summary

Spread Your Wings LLC operates a Community-Based Adult Behavioral Day Program serving individuals with developmental disabilities in the Ukiah area. This full-time role involves transporting clients, supporting them in community settings, and implementing individualized service plans.

You will work Monday–Friday with a set daytime schedule in Ukiah/Willits, providing person-centered care, promoting independence, safety, and meaningful activities while coordinating with supervisors and families.

Qualifications

• Experience working with clients with developmental disabilities & behavioral support needs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow individualized service plans and provide direct care when needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from program activities.
• Support clients in community settings such as parks, libraries, stores, and other public venues.
• Implement individualized service plans focused on social skills, communication, community integration, and safety awareness.
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene and mobility support when necessary.
• Promote independence and encourage client participation in meaningful activities.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and family members, as needed.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of each individual at all times.
• Assist with redirecting and managing behaviors.

Full Time- Set schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm or 8:45am-3:15pm (Willits, CA)

Our staff work out in the community, providing person-centered support and helping individuals build skills, increase independence, and meaningfully engage in everyday life.
