Job summary

Access Services in East Stroudsburg, PA is hiring a Direct Support Professional to join our Day Program team. You will provide personalized supports to adults with developmental disabilities, helping them maintain independence and engage in life-enrichment activities.

We require a HS diploma or GED, background checks, and a valid driver's license. Full-time schedule weekdays 8am-4pm, with driving duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Background checks, physical examination, and driving history record required.
• Must be able to travel during workday using personal or agency vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Individual Support Plan (ISP) for every participant.
• Record daily service notes and other documentation as directed.
• Help ensure high quality of care to individuals and meet their needs.
• Establish a secure, positive environment that nurtures individual goals.
• Facilitate an individual's inclusion in the community through activities.
• Promote independence in daily living, learning, leisure, and volunteer opportunities.
