Job summary

The Center for Disability Services is seeking a Day Program Coordinator to join our Adult Services Program in upstate New York. This role focuses on developing educational and vocational programming for individuals supported and requires leadership of the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective services.

Candidates should have a High School diploma and at least 2 years of related experience; an Associate degree or two years of college may substitute for 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of job related experience in developmental disabilities or related field.
• Associate degree or two completed years of college may be considered in lieu of 1 year experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Educational and vocational programming for assigned individuals.
• Lead the interdisciplinary team servicing each individual on caseload.
• Participates in direct care as needed.
• Assist Directors/Day Program Administrators with daily organizational needs.
