Job summary

LOT Commercial Property Services is seeking a Full-Time Day Porter to keep our San Diego properties clean, safe, and welcoming. You will patrol sites, assist the supervisor with scheduling, and ensure daily tasks are completed to a high standard.

This role requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently outdoors. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and experience leading a small crew helps when coordinating on-site teams. Weekly pay and benefits are offered.

Full‑Time Day Porter

Location

Schedule

Friday – Tuesday 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm (Wednesday & Thursday OFF)

Pay

$19.00 per hour, paid weekly

Job Summary

Keep properties shining and be the friendly face everyone notices.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day
• Support the supervisor with scheduling and leading the team onsite
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces
• Clean restrooms and high‑traffic areas
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills
• Remove debris such as stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor

Qualifications

• Strong communicator in English or Spanish, both written and verbal
• Fluent in English to communicate with property management and security
• Familiar with using a mobile device for time keeping and document review
• Enjoys providing friendly customer service
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
• Comfortable working independently
• Physically active and comfortable being on feet outdoors
• Experienced in janitorial, custodial, or porter work, especially leading a crew
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)

Physical Requirements

• On your feet throughout the shift
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking stairs and large properties regularly
