Job summary

LOT Commercial Property Services is seeking a Weekend Day Porter to keep our retail and commercial properties clean, welcoming, and ready for business. This part-time position covers Saturday and Sunday mornings in La Mesa, CA, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour and weekly pay.

You’ll be on your feet outdoors, using a mobile device for timekeeping, and you’ll report to your supervisor on site. The ideal candidate is reliable, bilingual (English or Spanish), customer‑oriented, and able to work

• Fluent in English or Spanish, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Empty trash and clean receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows and sills.
• Remove debris and graffiti as needed.
• Walk the property regularly to check cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Day Shift

Pay: $18.00 per hour, paid weekly

What You’ll Do

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces
• Clean restrooms and high‑traffic areas
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness
• Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor
• Always use required safety equipment

Requirements and Qualifications

• Strong communicator in English or Spanish—both written and verbal
• Familiar with using a mobile device for time keeping and document review
• Enjoy providing friendly customer service
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
• Comfortable working independently
• Physically active and enjoy being on your feet outdoors
• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or porter work (preferred)

Physical Requirements

• On your feet throughout the shift
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking up stairs and in large properties regularly
