Job summary

LOT Commercial Property Services is hiring a Part-Time Day Porter to keep retail and commercial spaces clean and welcoming. You’ll be the eyes and ears on-site, ensuring restrooms, lobbies, and entrances are tidy and safe.

Weekend shifts require reliability, a positive attitude, and strong English or Spanish communication. You’ll work outdoors and indoors, perform routine cleaning tasks, and report any maintenance needs to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• English or Spanish communication skills (written and verbal).
• Familiar with using a mobile device for timekeeping and document review.
• Enjoys providing friendly customer service.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Physically active and comfortable outdoors.
• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or porter work preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills.
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti.
• Walk the property to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor.
• Always use required safety equipment (we've got you covered!).

Schedule: Saturday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm & Sunday 7:00 am - 1:30 pm (weekend only)
Pay: $18.47 per hour, Paid Weekly

What You'll Do

Requirements

? What We're Looking For

You might be a great fit if you are:

• A strong communicator in English or Spanish – both written and verbal
• Familiar with using a mobile device (such as a cell phone or tablet) regularly for timekeeping and document review

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently
• Physically active and enjoy being on your feet outdoors
• Experienced in janitorial, custodial, or porter work (preferred - not required!)

Physical Requirements:

• On your feet throughout the shift
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking stairs and large properties regularly
