Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is seeking a dependable driver to operate a pick-up truck on a scheduled route in Newark, DE. You will perform litter pickup and cleaning tasks at multiple retail properties and report issues to the team lead.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, the ability to read maps, lift up to 40 lbs, and pass drug tests. We offer a full benefits package, weekly pay, and on-demand pay with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a pick-up truck to drive to different stops on a scheduled route.
• Complete assigned job(s) in the time allotted

Immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns and accurately complete required logs and paperwork.

• Perform labor duties as required by team lead . Such as:
• Perform litter pick-up along highways
• Perform cleaning and labor tasks to maintain various retail properties
• U sing a leaf blower to blow off sidewalks, changing trash bags, and walking around the property to check for issues

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience closely related to the field of work.
• Ability to follow directions and read maps
• Must maintain valid driver\'s license/good driving record
• Must pass and maintain drug-free status: employment and random drug tests
• Ability to operate a pick-up truck safely
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally
• Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping. No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required.
• Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending, as required.
