Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America in Louisville, OH is seeking a dependable driver/operator to conduct scheduled route pickups and property maintenance. You will operate a pickup truck, perform litter removal and related labor tasks, and ensure routes are completed on time.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and adherence to safety standards. DOT Physical and drug testing may be required; on-site work with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or related work experience.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• DOT Physical and DOT Medical Card required.
• Able to lift 40 lbs occasionally and perform manual labor tasks.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a pickup truck to drive to different stops on a scheduled route.
• Complete assigned job(s) within the allotted time.
• Perform litter pickup along highways and cleaning tasks at properties.
• Use a leaf blower to clean sidewalks, change trash bags, and inspect properties.
• Support team lead with labor duties as needed.

HOURS: 1st shift, 7 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday, schedule subject to change based on business needs.

COMPENSATION: $17.00-18.00 / Hour

TRAVEL: Minimal (1-10%)

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a pick-up truckto drive to different stops on a scheduled route.
• Complete assigned job(s) in the time allotted
• Perform labor duties as required by team lead. Such as:
• Perform litter pick-up along highways
• Perform cleaning and labor tasks to maintain various retail properties
• Using a leaf blower to blow off sidewalks, changing trash bags, and walking around the property to check for issues

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• DOT Physical Required but paid for by Company expense.
• Dot Medical Card
• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience closely related to the field of work.
• Ability to follow directions and read maps
• Must maintain valid driver's license/good driving record
• Must pass and maintain drug-free status: employment and random drug tests
• Ability to operate a pick-up truck safely
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally
• Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling,gripping,and grasping. No fine manipulation or fine manualdexterity required.
• Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending, as required
