Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a Day Porter to perform day-to-day property services in the greater Charlotte region. You will be highly organized, reliable, and able to handle a variety of duties on a scheduled route.

The role involves operating a pickup truck, completing tasks on time, and performing labor duties such as litter pickup and cleaning around retail properties under the team lead. Comfortable with lifting and standing through shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Clean driving record for past 3 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or related work experience.
• Ability to follow directions and read maps.
• Must maintain valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Must pass and maintain drug-free status: employment and random drug tests.
• Ability to operate a pickup truck safely.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Moderate lifting - up to 40 lbs.; bending, pushing, pulling, and gripping as required.
• Ability to stand for a full shift and walk, climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor duties as required by team lead, including litter pickup and cleaning around retail properties, and use a leaf blower as needed.

Job Summary:

SCA is seeking an energetic and reliable Day Porter to perform day-to-day commercial property services at various locations in and around the greater Charlotte region. The successful candidate will be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a pick-up truck to drive to different stops on a scheduled route.
• Complete assigned job(s) in the time allotted
• Perform labor duties as required by team lead . Such as:
  • Perform litter pick-up along highways
  • Perform cleaning and labor tasks to maintain various retail properties
  • U sing a leaf blower to blow off sidewalks, changing trash bags, and walking around the property to check for issues

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean driving record for past 3 years
• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience closely related to the field of work.
• Ability to follow directions and read maps
• Must maintain valid driver's license/good driving record
• Must pass and maintain drug-free status: employment and random drug tests
• Ability to operate a pick-up truck safely
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally
• Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping. No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required.
• Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending, as required
