Job summary

Tier One Property Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments across Class A properties. You will manage high-traffic areas, restock supplies, and assist with conference room upkeep while delivering professional tenant-focused service.

Ideal candidates have prior porter/janitorial experience, strong communication, knowledge of chemical safety and PPE, and can multitask in a fast-paced commercial setting.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial porter or janitorial experience is a MUST.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemical safety and PPE requirements.
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly in a fast-paced commercial environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of high-traffic areas throughout the day.
• Monitor and restock restroom and breakroom supplies.
• Spot-clean floors, glass, elevators, and common areas.
• Respond quickly to spills, service requests, and unexpected cleaning needs.
• Conduct routine property walkthroughs to identify cleanliness or safety concerns.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and properly handle cleaning chemicals according to OSHA and SDS guidelines.
• Support conference room setups and shared space maintenance.
• Provide professional and tenant-focused customer service while interacting with building occupants and visitors.
