The chosen candidate will perform routine cleaning, monitor restrooms, disinfect high-touch surfaces, manage supplies, and adhere to safety regulations. A fingerprint background check is required, with a preference for 1 year of Day Porter

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint background check.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Day Porter in a K-12 school preferred.
• Must be able to stand, sit, and lift up to 25 lbs without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain lobbies, waiting areas, hallways, and other common areas.
• Sanitize restrooms and keep supplies stocked.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like door handles and switches.
• Respond promptly to spills or cleaning requests.
• Empty trash and recycling throughout the day.
• Interact professionally with staff, patients, and visitors.
• Maintain janitorial closet and inventory.
• Follow safety regulations and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Communicate any irregularities or damages.
• Follow contract security protocols.
• Wear company-issued shirts.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
