Job summary

J&H Janitorial Company, LLC seeks a Day Porter to ensure building cleanliness and presentation. You will clean lobbies, restrooms, and common areas, disinfect high-touch surfaces, and promptly respond to cleaning needs.

The role requires a proactive approach, ability to work with clinic staff, patients and visitors, and adherence to safety standards. 18+ and background check required. Full-time daytime shift 6:30 am to 2:30 pm in Vernon, FL.

Qualifications

• Must be a team player and willing to complete other duties as assigned.
• Must pass fingerprint background check.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Day Porter in a K-12 school preferred; some classroom setup/takedown may be required.
• Must be able to stand, sit, and move up to 25 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain lobbies, waiting areas, hallways, and other common areas.
• Sanitize restrooms and keep supplies stocked.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and respond to spills promptly.
• Empty trash and recycling throughout the day.
• Interact professionally with staff, patients, and visitors.
• Report irregularities or damage; follow security protocols.
