Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain clean, orderly common areas in Milwaukee, WI. You will perform duties such as spot cleaning lobby glass doors, polishing chrome, vacuuming elevator cabs, and restocking/emptying trash as needed throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Attends work on time and meets attendance expectations.
• Follows safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions.
• Demonstrates reliability and willingness to work long hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Spot cleans lobby glass doors
• Polish chrome on lobby doors
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a day
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up trash
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor
• Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles
• Check restrooms twice daily
• Vacuum lobby daily or as needed
• Sweep stairwells and landings as needed
• Remove debris from landscaped areas
• Sweep building entrances
• Clean and remove smudges on walls and doors
• Polish elevator cab railings and doors
• Report lights out to Management Office
• Policing lobby during high-traffic times and manage trash
• Assist building Engineer daily if requested
