Job summary

Pritchard Industries, Inc. is hiring a Day Porter for a school with a changing schedule. You will vacuum, mop, sweep, and perform floor care, trash removal and cleaning of rest rooms and break rooms to maintain a healthy and safe environment.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $18.74 per hour. Summer hours are 7:00am–3:30pm Monday to Thursday; Fall to Spring hours are 8:00am–12:00pm and 4:00pm–8:00pm Monday to Thursday. Fridays are off.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Must be able to work adjusted schedule (Below)
• Able to use walk behind floor machine
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Janitor experience a plus but will train.
• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors and trash removal to keep the building clean and sanitary.
• Clean rest rooms and break rooms and perform related cleaning duties.
• Use floor machines as required to maintain floors to a high standard.

You will be responsible for vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, using a floor machine, trash removal rest room and break room cleaning and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Ideal candidate will have professional attitude & appearance and is initiative-taking, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.
