Job summary

Pritchard Industries is hiring a Day Porter to perform porter services, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, trash removal, and cleaning restrooms and break rooms. The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, and takes initiative to maintain a safe and sanitary facility.

Hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday, for 40 hours per week. Pay rate is $16.50 per hour with health benefits, 401(k), life insurance, long-term disability, FSA, and other ancillary benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform porter duties including vacuuming, mopping and sweeping floors.
• Trash removal and routine janitorial tasks.

We are seeking to hire a Day Porter. You will be responsible for porter services and may include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, trash removal restroom and break room cleaning and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Ideal candidate will have professional attitude & appearance and is initiative-taking, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Janitor experience a plus but will train.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Full Time
• Pay rate: $16.50/hr
