A leading company in facilities services is seeking a Day Porter to perform essential cleaning duties and custodial functions. The role involves maintaining cleanliness in various areas, including kitchens and exercise rooms, while adhering to safety protocols. Job Summary:
Perform basic cleaning duties and specific custodial functions as related to the specific requirements of the client’s business segment. Must always work in a safe and professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibility for emptying all recycling bins throughout the week
Stocking kitchens (coffee, creamers) throughout the week
Brewing coffee, trash removal, stocking supplies as needed for customer meetings
Daily Sanitation/cleaning of exercise room
Miscellaneous cleaning activities as assigned (spill clean ups, stocking. etc.) in kitchens and restrooms.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, climb of balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, taste or smell.
The employee must regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and may occasionally lift up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; and vibration. Occasionally loud noise level. May require safety equipment including, but not limited to, steel toe shoes, hearing, eye and hand protection.
