The Groomer is a commission-based position within the Resort and reports directly to the General Manager. We believe in the mission of "Pet Lovers Delighting Pet Lovers" and demonstrate this through being Playful, Passionate, Personal, and Professional. The ideal candidate will be a team player, self-motivated, receptive to feedback, possess excellent communication skills, and have great attention to detail. Passion for animal care and customer service is essential, along with experience grooming or bathing all breeds of dogs and cats.

A Day In The Life

This role involves making pets feel comfortable and looking their best, maintaining their health through grooming, and interacting with pet owners. Daily tasks include grooming appointments, baths, touch-ups, and handling emergencies. You will also communicate with pet owners, document observations, and ensure a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive and gentle grooming experience, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Complete grooming or bathing as per client requests on time.
• Schedule appointments, manage client information, and discuss grooming instructions.
• Communicate results and suggest additional services to clients.
• Maintain grooming tools and workspace cleanliness.
• Monitor pets' health during grooming and report concerns.
• Follow safety protocols, especially with aggressive or escape-prone animals.
• Adhere to pricing guidelines and document services accurately.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed.
