Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Austin, TX is seeking a Day Porter to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role requires performing janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, and reporting hazards.

The shift runs 6:30am to 3:30pm with a pay rate of $17 to $18 per hour. A bilingual candidate is a plus; familiarity with safety protocols and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3-6 months training or experience preferred.
• May require valid driver’s license and safety training certifications.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.* Perform janitorial duties* Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule* Operate motorized cleaning equipment* Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area* Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor* Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures* Perform work assignments in a team with other employees* Perform repetitive tasks* Maintain clean work area* Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules* Take direction and respond to supervision* Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner* Fill in during staff shortage* Support shift lead in completing punch-list items* Use proper personal protective equipment* Present a professional appearance and conduct* Understand customer service and satisfaction* Understand reporting systems, and of the environment**Qualification**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
