Job summary

Ohel is hiring for a full-time role in Far Rockaway, NY, supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position focuses on helping individuals build life skills, participate in the community, and achieve greater independence.

Responsibilities include leading activities, assisting with daily living, documenting progress, and coordinating with families and colleagues to ensure high-quality support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• A valid NY or NJ driver's license is strongly preferred for driving a 15-passenger van.
• Strong communication and basic computer skills are required.

• Collaborate with team members, families, and supervisors to provide quality support.
