Job summary

Ohel is seeking compassionate and energetic staff to join its Day Habilitation Program in Brooklyn. You will empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build life skills, gain independence, and participate in their communities.

Responsibilities include supporting personal goals, leading activities, assisting with ADLs, accompanying to community events, documenting progress, and collaborating with families and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience supporting individuals with IDD preferred.
• Valid NY or NJ driver’s license strongly preferred.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred
• Valid NY or NJ driver’s license with the ability to drive a 15-passenger van strongly preferred
• Strong communication and basic computer skills
