Ohel Children's Home and Family Service in Queens, NY seeks a full-time support professional to help individuals achieve personal goals and participate in community activities. The role involves leading activities, assisting with ADLs, and accompanying clients on outings.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, teamwork with families and supervisors, and delivering quality support while ensuring dignity and respect.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and basic computer skills required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred
• Valid NY or NJ driver's license with the ability to drive a 15-passenger van strongly preferred
• Strong communication and basic computer skills

Position includes a competitive benefits package that includes a 403B retirement plan, sick and vacation paid time off (PTO) and health insurance. Eligibility for all benefits is based on hours worked, employment classification, and fulfillment of applicable waiting periods and plan requirements. This full time position is based in Queens.

Salary: $19 per hour
