Job summary

Amego, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Day Habilitation team in Massachusetts. You will provide nursing support to adults with autism and developmental disabilities while helping them participate safely in daily programs.

You will administer medications, monitor health, document care, and collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary team to promote health, safety, and independence, within a supportive, community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Patient, respectful, and person-centered approach.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Commitment to Amego policies and state regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support based on each individual’s needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor health or behavior changes.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication records, and other required documentation.
• Communicate with families, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary team.
• Support staff with health-related questions and training.
• Help ensure safe participation in community activities and day program services.
• Follow Amego policies and applicable state and regulatory requirements.
