Job summary

Amego, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Day Habilitation team in Holbrook, MA.

You will provide nursing support to adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, helping them participate safely in daily programs. You will collaborate with program staff, clinical team members, families, and healthcare providers to support health, comfort, and well-being, while building meaningful relationships with the individuals you support.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Patient-centered approach to care.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support based on each individual’s needs
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor individuals for changes in health or behavior
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication records, and other required documentation
• Communicate with families, healthcare providers, and members of the interdisciplinary team
• Support staff with health-related questions and provide training when needed
• Help ensure that individuals can safely participate in community activities and day program services
• Follow all Amego policies and applicable state and regulatory requirements
