Job summary

Amego, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Day Habilitation team in Holbrook, MA.

This full-time role supports adults with autism and developmental disabilities, providing nursing care, administration of medications, and health monitoring within a collaborative, community-based program. You will work with families, clinical staff, and other professionals to promote health, safety, and independence.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Patient-, respectful, and person-centered approach.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support based on each individual’s needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor individuals for changes in health or behavior.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication records, and other required documentation.
• Communicate with families, healthcare providers, and members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Support staff with health-related questions and provide training when needed.
• Help ensure that individuals can safely participate in community activities and day program services.
• Follow all Amego policies and applicable state and regulatory requirements.
