Job summary

Jawonio is seeking a Day Habilitation Supervisor in NEW CITY, NY. The role oversees development, scheduling, and delivery of activities for the Day Habilitation program and may supervise Prevocational and Respite Services.

The position requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years’ supervisory experience; QIDP certification is preferred. Strong leadership and coordination skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in related field and five years’ experience leading activities, writing plans, and supervising individuals.
• Must qualify as a QIDP per OPWDD.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of program staff and provide training and direction.
• Develop, implement, and schedule program activities and staff assignments.
• Coordinate transportation and supervise staff in daily routes.
• Review fire evacuation and emergency procedures with staff.
• Prepare lesson plans/activities and adapt instruction as needed.
• Oversee billing reports and attendance procedures.
