Zusammenfassung

Ibero American Action League is seeking a Direct Support Professional – Day Habilitation to support individuals in daily living and community activities. You will work under the Day Habilitation Coordinator as part of an Interdisciplinary Treatment Team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid NYS driver’s license, with preferred bilingual communication. You will document progress, assist with transportation, and ensure safety and compliance with procedures.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months experience in community human services.
• Bilingual abilities preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Counsel consumers while supervising and assisting with activities of daily living and independent living skills.
• Physically assist/coach consumers with toileting and other personal hygiene needs daily.
• Maintain up-to-date program notes, outcome notes, and billing for each consumer daily.
• Transport consumers to activities and to and from the program.
• Ensure the facility and vehicles are safe; participate in fire drills and safety procedures.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings; maintain CPR/First Aid certifications.
