Job summary

United Protective Services is seeking a Full-Time Day Concierge/Lobby Security Officer in Houston, TX to provide professional security and exceptional customer service. You will follow post orders, monitor the premises, and respond promptly to incidents while engaging with clients, vendors, and authorities as needed.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, and a commitment to a positive, professional image.

Qualifications

• Must exhibit professional image and customer service excellence.
• Ability to engage with clients, customers and vendors.
• Comfortable working in a security role with daily activity notes.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Immediate response to open shift coverage when dispatched by management.
• Engage in conflict resolution on site.
• Assists client with duties as assigned.
• Aids in maintaining an orderly workplace.
• Trains new personnel on procedures under management.
• Makes decisions regarding safety and security with post orders.
• Maintains daily activity logs in accordance to post orders.
• Creates incident reports for unique incidents on site.
• Observes and reports all suspicious activity.
• Ensures equipment is maintained and accounted for during shifts.
• Superior customer service skills are required.
• Must engage in conversation with clients, customers and vendors.
