Job summary

Collierville Health and Rehab in Collierville, TN is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility.

This full-time position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and accurate recording of vital signs, with opportunities for growth and a strong focus on resident well-being.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record patient vital signs and assist with lifting, moving and transporting residents with proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager and ask clarifying questions as needed.
• Communicate effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA's are responsible for the following

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
