Collierville Health and Rehab in Collierville, TN is seeking licensed practical nurse (LPN) or registered nurse (RN) for night shift from 7pm to 7am. Join a team focused on quality patient care and staff satisfaction, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Prepare and administer medications and record prescribed dosages.
• Records patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitors equipment and interprets electronic displays.
• Initiates corrective action for adverse symptoms.
• Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.
• Changes dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Assists physician during examination and treatment.
• Responds to life-saving situations per nursing standards.
• Participates in discharge planning.
• Uses time management effectively.
• Records care information accurately and timely.

LPN/RN Core Responsibilities:

• Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.

• Records patients' medical information and vital signs.

• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.

• Initiates corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology

• Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.

• Changes dressings, insert catheters, starts IVs

• Prepares equipment and aids the physician during examination and treatment of a patient

• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol

• Participates in discharge planning.

• Utilizes time management skills.

• Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms.

• Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting.

LPN/RN Requirements:

• Current RN/LPN license in the state

• At least one year of LPN or RN experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
