Job summary

Midtown Center for Health and Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our Memphis team. Full-time, day-to-day shifts are available, including 7a-7p, 7p-7a, and 3p-11p, with PRN 8 and 4-hour options.

You will support residents with activities of daily living, monitoring, and comfort, contributing to a high-quality, resident-centered care environment. We foster a teamwork-oriented culture with recognition and opportunities for growth, and offer comprehensive benefits and shift

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Current state certification as a CNA

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record patient vital signs and assist with lifting, moving, and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nurse management.
• Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Current state certification as a CNA
